Iván Fernández de Córdoba Romero (1989, Valencia, España).
I studied graphic design, photography, audiovisual production and cinematographic direction in Ciudad de la Luz, coordinated by Mariano Barroso (Éxtasis) and Pablo Berger (Blancanieves). Also an advanced script workshop in the EICTV of Cuba.
I direct, write, record and/or edit fiction, advertising and documentary. I manage edition video programs, postproduction and design. I know how to control the light in a staging and roll with any camera. As a director, my strong point, I plan or improvise whatever kind of sequence and I have knowledge of directing actors.
My lasts films are Cruzando el sentido (2015), a feature film which tells the story of a young man who crosses Spain with a skateboard as the only means of transport and Un lugar (2016), a short film starred by Abdelatif Hwidar about the prejudices of the refugees in Europe. Between them, they accumulate more than 35 prizes and 100 national and international selections. Both works have nominations for the Goya Awards.
A year ago I released my new movie, #Seguidores (2018), the first Valencian film selected at the International Cinema Jove Film Festival.
